Re: Team for Leeds
Flemming did have that x factor in the Championship and scored some fantastic goals, but as Dark Cloud has summarised several posts above "Flemming does not have the pace or movement to seriously trouble PL defenders". I suspect Flemming is not a lot faster than Barnes

Re: Team for Leeds
Only two variables for me from Sunday. Firstly Ugo starting for Laurent, with Luis deployed in a deep central defensive midfield role. Secondly Hannibal for Tchaoumu, and playing just behind Foster. Think SP will give Tuanzebe a run of games. I hope he realises that Lauren's hybrid role is not benef...

You can talk systems and tactics all you want. Our forwards wouldn’t trouble a lot of Championship defences. You are right-thats the bottom line. With a more potent forward line we could have scored one or two goals at Spurs, maybe won v Forest, and made a more even score at Villa. It takes endless...

If we had a fully fit Beyer who had not experienced his horrific injury then he would be the ideal centre half to play in the Laurent role as he could primarily play at the back but step forward with the ball into midfield

If you watch the City game closely , he was very slow at getting to his man for 2 of their goals . Can't disagree-its a good example of how far behind "PL standard" some of our players are. Cardiff for me really backfired-another round in the League Cup would have allowed more game time for Broja, Humphreys, Tuanzebe, Edwards, maybe even Roberts and a few more, whilst keeping motivation high in the club. All it needed was to have some of the first team on the bench

Have we written Tuanzebe off after one game. Thought he kept Ollie Watkins pretty quiet during the game. I think Humphreys and particularly Worral would have struggled yesterday. Today just further highlights the sheer chasm between the Championship and the Premier League. It’s more like a game of chess at this level now, with one wrong move very costly as per the goals we conceded today. 2/3 quick passes and bang, you’ve conceded! In fairness, at times we look like we can ...

Dubravka 8-kept us in game with some greatsaves Walker 7-some very good intelligent play at times, and a good performance, but was starting to make silly mistakes at the end Esteve 6-think he is still recovering from the City game.
