Re: Bike a advice
Three years ago I bought a Giant Roam for about £650 including some very neat disc brakes. It's quite slow as the tyres are quite wide but it's ideal for a lot of the off road cycleways on the old Waggonways of which there are many in the north east. I haven't had a puncture yet, I used to get loads...

Never, ever get tired of watching that goal. A thing of beauty. Made better with it being a big clash of promotion hopefuls. 8-) Good call. He took out the entire QPR defence with laser like precision and execution. Nice finish from Danny but it was on a plate for him. He wasn't just a head on a st...

I was wandering down Grey St in Newcastle today. It's one of the most beautiful streets in the country. But so many frontages, and the floors above, remain empty. Absolutely ridiculous. Prime location being wasted. I just can't understand it However there isn't a proper Sports Shop in Newcastle tha...

Forest v Burnley League Cup 1990
Watching the latest Stick to Football broadcast with Mark Crossley prompted me to think that he must have been in the nets the night that Forest beat the Clarets 4 - 1 in the League Cup 1st leg at the City Ground. Also a young Roy Keane was in the Forest side and he scored and set one up. Nigel Clou...

Cov look well coached and much better on the ball than Sunderland. Looks like Frank has done a good job there and we fix well to beat them at their place.

Sunderland fans are a very anxious lot. Very quick to get on to their players when they screw up which has been a lot tonight. Very edgy atmosphere.

In addition to Morgan Whittaker Boro also signed Kelechi Iheanacho on loan from Sevilla after he signed on a fee for them last summer from Leicester City.
He scored one goal and looked totally out of condition almost busting out of his shorts. No wonder questions are being asked about Carrick.

I saw two tackles in the EPL last week where the man clearly played the ball first but caught his opponent in the follow through which were given as fouls. Darlow is Welsh National keeper so he will be used to a bit of pressure.
However months in the sidelines can dull the reflexes of even the best keepers. I seem to remember Cudicini looking very shaky in the League Cup Tie at Stamford Bridge a few years back.
