The guy who has the channel was on You Bet on Saturday evening. He had to recall the name of the pub and where it was from just it's sign (without the wording obviously) He got every single one of them. Quite a few of those pubs I have never set foot in and a few of those that I have look a lot bett...

I logged in at 12pm and was amazed how many had already been sold. I was offered seats high up and I was close to ordering them and thought I'd check on aviewfrommyseat and found the view of the goal at the far end is obscured by the roof of the stand to the left. Just be cautious when buying. I end...

My daughter informed me (whilst at the tram stop in Whitefield on our way) that she hadn't got her ticket. Needless to say I went ballistic at her and said why did you not say you had not got the email ( I did ask her to look when I knew mine had arrived) After already reading the issues on here I a...

I've a habit of missing games that get us to Wembley despite going to all the Wembley games. Missed getting a ticket for Preston in the Sherpa Van..I was only 15 though. Plymouth away i had just started a job the week before and couldn't get it off and Reading away I was on a family holiday to Butli...

Like it's realistically achievable or expected within the context of relegation not to deviate elsewhere in discussing other teams. But let's rigidly discuss Sunderland & Leeds who actually look a cut above (so far) than the likes of wolves. You are STILL not getting it are you? This is a thread ab...

Writing this from the Victoria Tap waiting for the train back. Gathered my thoughts on the walk back having left 5 minutes early in the hope of a tram back but seemingly half the ground including the City fans had the same idea...so gave my legs a work out. 5-1 severely flatters them. Never a 5-1 ga...

I’m assuming the stewards were on Belvedere Road and stopping fans from entering the CC The gate in the fence between the CC and Ormerod Yard would need somebody on there to prevent home fans trying to go that way Yeah to be fair I realised that after posting but it is still an entrance fans could ...

The big question is..Who owns the gate behind the cricket club from the pathway from Ormerod Yard? If it is the football club they could just lock it..but then it incoveniences the away fans and perhaps why it is being stewarded but If it is the cricket club then the football club have no right plac...

I stayed behind a little longer than I normally do after the Liverpool game with the end being so dramatic and controversial just to see if there was any fallout on the pitch and with the ref. Big mistake. I experienced the crush and the shuffle towards the club shop gap first hand. With that experi...

Chicken Tikka in a Naan Kebab from Taras In Rosegrove is immense. Chilli and salad and a portion of their chips..which are like steak chips and decent for an Asian Takeaway.
An honourable mention for Jaipur in Padiham too..but their chips are more like fries unfortunately.

That's 1 more than I've ever been to. It's one more than I will ever go to. I've not been to a match in either code but I do marginally prefer Union to League (enjoy watching the 6 nations) but I wouldn't call myself a fan of either. I've tried watching a League game and it just comes across as a w...

Footy. I might post on the cricket threads a lot but footy always comes first when they overlap. Liverpool at home trumps a wet Todmorden away for example. Plenty of away trips with my daughter to come. My wife tells people (tongue in cheek...i think/hope)she is a football widow in the winter and a ...

If they hadn't been gifted that penalty against us they wouid currently be in the relegation zone and the media and pundits are talking very differently to how they are now and Amorin is under a lot more pressure than he already is. Small margins.

I wonder if he gets it right on the Fifa/EA games he voices? I doubt they'd be happy with him calling Ugochukwu Ucoochycoochycoo like he does now and if they have told him what it is (as I presume he's recorded his bit..if he hasn't been binned off) then why does he still get it wrong on the Turf?

A straw poll If you meet a stranger and they say they follow one of the big sides, do you initially show them less respect than someone who follows a less fashionable/successful club? Especially if that club is Manchester United or Liverpool. I certainly do. Yes. Most definitely. I got talking to a...

Brentford showed against Chelsea how you get to these teams. Let them overcommit then hit it long to the forward and have pace joining in. On several occasions Chelsea were caught short at the back. Liverpool will do the same and it's been shown they can be got at like that as well. If we sit back a...

I've seen the fake tail pipes on Teslas....seems to be a thing!...a bit like the Ball-bags hanging from the back of pickup trucks.
Aren't the ball-bags usually driving them?

How good would it be if we could get battery technology to a point where you can swap the battery out when it is low for a fully charged one and just plug it in? We could repurpose petrol stations to be charge/battery swap stations. You could ask for different amounts just as you can fill up for dif...

It’s an odd partnership choice (the one with ‘X’) from our board, and I say that as someone who generally backs them. As the post above says, it’s a cesspit of hate, political interference and misinformation. Aside from that, it’s not been any fun on there even before Musk got his hands on it. Like...

Had two injuries this year which upset his batting rhythm. We just bowled sides out for fun though, which has helped. We've been noticeably more aggressive with the bat too this year. Almost bazball like. Take today...from 3 overs 31/0 . Get the runs on the board. We don't tend to collapse either a...
