According to reports in France, Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Lyon to sign forward Georges

Mikautadze can also play on the left and also as a second striker too.

I’m seriously overwhelmed this morning with all of the hype on X surrounding Burnley’s alleged interest in Luis and Mikhautdze. These comments are coming from some very credible journalists so I don’t think it’s all hype. We’re clearly attempting to strengthen the quality of our 1st team squad and n...

Based on the performances I saw whilst he was on loan at Bradford City, he’s far from ready. Prem defenders would outmuscle him all of the time. He doesn’t have the physicality or athleticism required and his anticipation isn’t the best. Prem goal scorers need pace, alertness and an eye for goal and...

My father once played against him whilst undertaking his National Service at Catterick around 1949/51. His recollection is seeing this bull of a man charging down the wing towards him. To be honest I always thought it was Norman Hunter’s tackle on Frank just before the 1973 FA Cup semi final that eventually sealed his retirement. Michael Melon scored again for Bradford City last night as they consolidated 2nd place in League 2. He’s a very good linkman but not an out and out striker as he lacks the predatory instincts and isn’t a natural goal scorer.
