Full credit to the Headingley ground staff for preparing a cracking test match pitch. First time a team with 5 centurions has lost a test match, Siraj et al must be frothing at their out cricket. They said on the radio that it was the first time in any first class match that a team scoring five cen...

Try The Rose in San Augustin. Lots of screens and very helpful staff. They were happy to put the game v Sheff Wednesday on for me. Get in early and let them know and I think they will sort you out. It’s a great little bar in the Shopping Centre.

A bit of research on James Trafford on the internet. First Bolton keeper to keep 4 consecutive clean sheets from his debut on wards (aged 18). The season after he kept 26 clean sheets. A club record. Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome

Re Laurent. I’ve no idea if he’s any good or not. He’s not the flash signing we have become accustomed to, but Alex Neil made him Stoke captain and before that he was Reading’s player of the season. The squad lacks leaders. He’s a physical presence (he’s 6 foot 2). Sensible if unspectacular signing ...

Dodgson/Richardson/Westley/Bauress

Quick question.
Are these four players still at Burnley?
If so, anyone know why they weren’t involved on Saturday?
Appreciate some/all may have unreported injuries.

(No conspiracy theory behind the question)

My son played futsal with Callum so we got to know him and his family a bit. He was an outstanding player and a really nice lad.
I think it is fair to say the youth set up when Callum left Burnley was a complete shambles and he along with quite a lot of other young players were handled badly.
