Ringo, there are many clarets on here who don't think that you and your ilk are right minded at all but I suppose warped minded individuals like you don't care what right minded people think.

I suppose the Tory Party and their wealthy backers don't have their snouts in the trough so we will be ok then.

Re: Ypres 100 years ago.
I am a friend of Private Thomas Whithams grandson . His other grandson Jack played football for Sheffield Wednesday and Liverpool. From what I have read the Scots had a large presence at Passchendaele and it is said that during the war they lost 10% of the male population.

Re: Soft Brexit defeated
The Rightards on here I fear will eventually have to eat humble pie when the true cost of an hard brexit hits home. I read only last week that some 2,000 companies in Europe are already making contingency plans to change their supply chains to other Euro countries so as to avoid paying more for the ...

Sooner or later Theresa is toast, DUP deal or not. What a waste of a very large bribe.

Todmorden Road and then to Burnley Wood finishing school for young sophisticated gentlemen. Written off by selection at the age of 11 but went on to prove the system wrong.

I believe it was initially Margaret Beckett who originally got him to stand and that he then won two leadership contests. Didn't realize she was in either of those organizations. As for Mrs May, she looks after the interests of her own kind.

Your probably right DSR, it won't lead to a prosecution. He is being smug about it though which fits in with what I know of his character.

Re: Tory candidate for Burnley under police investigation
I have experience of Paul White in Pendle and in my opinion he is a prize prat. He seems to be confident of winning the seat in Burnley which I find surprising given the fact that he recently lost his seat on the County Council. God help the constituents of Burnley if the likes of him ever get elect...

Re: I don't think she knows does she..?
Dianne Abbott was replaced by Emily Thornberry today on womans hour. I said a long time ago that I didn't like that Dianne had been given the role but does anyone else think she hasn't looked well. This could obviously be stress related but one can't argue that she hasn't performed well. I wouldn't ...

Theresa is not going down well within her own Party at the moment and the knives will be out for her if she doesn't do really well on Thursday. One of Camerons main advisers is even calling on her to resign because of her cutting the police force and thereby contributing to the public's vulnerabilit...

Re: Conservative candidate charged over 2015 election expenses
Caballo, her taking part in the TV debate tonight does not undermine the point I was making, she could hardly reneged on a commitment she had agreed to before today's revelations. It has been announced on BBC news that she will not be taking part in any further radio shows. This, of course, may just ...

The knives are already being sharpened for Theresa unless she gets an hefty majority. Just to think that they pay millions to some foreigner to come up with their election strategy. I would be asking for a refund.

I am sure our side will not under estimate Lincoln. Personally I believe they will be tough opponents and we should not be daft enough to make derogatory remarks about their players.A bit of respect on both sides wouldn't go amiss. Lets hope quality and commitment win the day.

The man seems to have repeatedly lied.Defending him seems such a puerile thing to do. If the good people of Stoke vote for him it shows what a sad state English politics is in.

I think the French are ok. Linesman and referee to blame for the defeat and I believe they were both English.Wenger usually biased but that's his way.
