VAR once again being used to manage games. Away from that there was a classic after they went 3.2 up where linesmen flagged for a corner for us then changed his mind! Again more talking points to fill the 24 hour sky sports news for start of next week.

I don't travel too often on the trams in Manchester but when I do I just tap on and off and have never had any issues when it comes to payment. The biggest bottleneck is in the toilets at half time especially if someone releases a foul stretching odour from a cubicle which can often lead to a bit of a stampede as people push to the exit for fresh air.
Hopefully something Pace and co are looking into with regards to an air freshening system.

He does have the speed, he actually beat his man more than once. The player he struggled against with pace was Van Der Ven, and isn't he currently the fastest player in the PL? He struggled to outpace defenders in the championship. We all want him to do well but we are now two and a half years in.

Some nice touches but doesn’t have the pace to get behind the opposition defence as was demonstrated a few times in the first half. He’s been here long enough to know he isn’t going to be the answer up front. Really hope we have another striker lined up.
