If it goes on as much as it is rumoured to maybe it’s time clubs come out and say. At least the bottom clubs would know where they stand.
The gap seems to be widening between the 2nd division and top and I don’t buy into players move clubs for ‘better facilities’ it’s Lancashire league cricket!

Heard back in the late 80’s and 90’s clubs tried to poach a few of Rawtenstall’s star players which resulted in local enforcer’s Jackie Barnes and Colin Knuckles having to get involved.

Just my opinion but the lancs league have destroyed the league with two divisions ok if you are a top team in div one with your very good players but how do division 2 teams keep there good players that theyhave when the big boys come for them 2 nddivision standard very average a lot of the times a...

Some real guff on here as usual, there is a really good player in Foster, he can finish too, I recall a really nice steered finish away to Sheff Utd when I was right in front of it, but it seems to be down to how much is swilling around his head at a moment in time. Another memory of the Shrewsbury cup tie was at the turf a big banner being passed down the longside reading John Bond is a w@nker.

Also have a memory on the Granada Friday evening kick off programme he faced questions in the studio from Burnley fans.

The game at Sheffield should not have gone ahead. I suspect it would have been abandoned at half time but with us leading 0-2 that was not likely to happen. And a huge away following! Met Jamie Hoyland on a night out in Rawtenstall who spoke about this game and said it should never have gone ahead ...

The game at The Shay that stands out the most for me was when the fans - and I mean Burnley fans, there weren't many Halifax - cleared the pitch of snow so the game could go ahead. I seem to remember the ref giving us a really dodgy pen. Just reward. My memory of that game is snowballs being thrown...
