Starting to think we might not win away all next season as well. That is an incredibly frustrating result. The team was crying out for a sub to freshen things up. Westwood or Defour would have shut that game down. I really do not understand why Dyche persists with players that literally offered not...

Being abroad, I watched it live on tv in the middle of the night...I can confirm that even from SE Asia, 20 mins from the end you could feel a goal was coming. 'Barnes softens them up, now will Vokes get the winner?'. A good forcast from the commentator! ☺

Back near the start of the season an Everton supporting friend of mine asked if he could come with me to see the Clarets...I took him to the home game v Hull. At the end he asked ' Whos the one with long hair & head band? He's your best player! He's everywhere!'

Agreed...they need competitive games here weekly
...then we can introduce them into the squad...I was harking back to the days when I saw such as Leighton James, who looked like a 16 year old schoolboy, come in & run rings round some of the best old pros in the game.

He's the best we have by some considerable distance as all those who went to Sunderland were reminded Not sure I agree with knocking one of our own players in public...especially one playing virtually his first game for over a year.
