5.20 Goodwood. Worth a look this time out. Ran well over course and distance this time last year. I took 6/1 but now into 9/2 on B365. Likely to shorten further if the going gets softer than good.

Re: Chris Wood
Looking at the bloke he looks like a typical old style centre forward..........but he's far from it. I wouldn't mind seeing Vokes start as target centre forward with Wood playing off him or in an attacking midfield role instead of Hendrick. We have to something different with the 'group we have avai...

Re: Chain lubricant
Nothing wrong with 3 in 1 or other similar lubes as long as you put it on a cloth first and run your chain through it and do that every week. Neither WD40 nor GT85 are the answer. Don't get conned into paying silly money for synthetic equivalents.

Really can't criticise them as they're all a blessed relief from having to listen to Hoddle commentating.

Re: Big Sam to be axed within 48 hours... hold onto your hats!
Did anyone really expect Big Sam to be managing Everton next season? Brought in to steady the ship till the end of the season and will leave with 18 months pay. Done the job for them. As for where SD could go, who has a squad that would accept his style of management? Far too many prima donnas in mo...

Brings back memories of many years ago having a couple of pints in the Turkey after long rides then riding up the cobbled hill with what then seemed to be someone else's legsBarry_Chuckle wrote:Côte de Goose Eye for me........ Turkey pub at the bottom of the hill to keep one lubricated!

Re: Tom or nick
Heaton's a hell of a shot stopper but prone to staying on his line. Pope's more commanding of his box (snigger) as a keeper should be but perhaps not as athletic as Heaton. Pope's the form keeper. Heaton's coming back from injury. We're 7th in the Premier League whilst Heaton's been injured. No bra...

Not looked at the card but in general favours previous course winners and keep an eye out for local trainers. One of my favorite jumps courses.

Ward and Kights met my lad at V fest late Saturday night last year. Day we beat Liverpool at home from memory? They were talking after the Preston friendly and he said he'd be going again so hope it''s a good omen.ExistentialWanderer wrote:Got to admit. It was a belting shot for a left-back.

Have to say that Shearer''s gone up in my estimation. BT pundits also gave us some air time as opposed to how sh*t the opponents were as happened all last season. Perhaps we'll have to change 'no one likes us' to 'they now accept us'!

Deserved lead. England out thought. Need to stop showing their lack of knowledge of the laws of the game. Not professional.

How about scantily clad cheerleaders, 18 year old plus, entertaining the troops throughout the match on on the three sides of the ground that they won't risk causing heart failures. Bob Lorders can have the happy clapper things to entertain themselves.

Re: Ben Mee
Cannot fault his commitment. Brilliant in the air for his height .......but......being caught out for pace at this level and has the odd rush of blood when he charges out with little chance of getting he ball. Poor distribution. Time to give Tarks a start in his natural position.
