How devious is the Egan-Riley transfer
Is devious the right word even? Or is everything above board with this deal if it goes through? Under UK rules if an U23 player out of contract is transferred, then the club, in this case Burnley, I understand are entitled to a transfer fee. If the two clubs cannot agree a fee it goes to a tribunal ...

I now need to use a walking stick.
I will need it to get to my seat on Saturday.
Are there other users on herewith walking sticks and are they permissible
or taken off you by stewards.
I seem to remember some time ago someone had their umbrella taken off them.

As the diary writer for the London Clarets mag, all I can say is Samuel Pepys would struggle to keep up with things. Anyone who has a full set of the mags that go back many years has a superb history of the club. Ten years from now we can read them and shake our heads in disbelief at what is going o...

Memories of that Everton day remain vivid because of the effect on Mrs T and daughter Victoria who were two of many who fled downstairs to escape the mayhem. The placing of these fans in the Upper JH by the club was utterly fatuous. For one Burnley guy to be singled out and banned is appalling. Also...

Good point Castro. From the injury angle you couldn't put them in a worse place than right at the top of the Upper JH. Several were forcibly dragged down the steps from top to bottom. A few home fans sitting in the end seats gave them an extra thwack. The last one to be dragged out was given an extr...
