Re: RATE THE REF - Sam Barrott v Manchester United

Via television it was said the shirt was still being held into our penalty box. Therefore a penalty. Horrible for us at that stage of the game but not the ref's fault. If the referee was a genuine Premier League Referee he would have seen the shirt pull outside the area and blown for a free-kick. I...

If the referee was up to standard as a Premier League referee, he would have seen the shirt pull outside the box and given a free-kick i.e. no penalty

A homer who showed where his allegiance was in the first 15 minutes when he blew for a foul against Burnley if a Burnley player dared to go near a United 'player/'actor'. He was desperate for a home win and got his wish at the death. He will be very pleased with his performance as will the Premier L...

In the past I usually parked on the Tennis Court Car Park and walked down the side of the CC to my seat in the JHU Upper, sometimes calling in at the CC before and/or after the game. On Saturday I arrived at 12 noon and parked on the street behind the JM Stand. I then spent 2 hours in the Park View....

After breaking his leg, Colin spent some time in the Hartley Hospital, Laneshawbridge, Colne. I remember my brother writing to him (and receiving a reply). In Martin Dobson's recent book, Martin also mentioned spending a night in the same hospital following an injury.

From TV in Tenerife, Kitchen was incompetent. Most free-kicks were incorrect. If a player won the ball but the opponent fell over he awarded a foul. If a player was blatantly fouled he played on. He really should be awarded the award of 'White Stick of the Year'.
