Off to Jersey for a short break in a couple of weeks doing a bit of walking. Looking forward to it as I’ve not been to Jersey in over 45 years. Go to Crete in October for mine and Mrs LC’s 25th wedding anniversary so it’s full bells and whistles then we have our annual 3-4 weeks in Lanzarote over Ch...

Bear in mind that if you get into a dispute (s) with a neighbour, most especially if the police/courts get involved, you would be required to advise of such in the sales documentation if and when you ever come to sell said property They won’t be any need for any police intervention now they have in...

I don’t think a chartered surveyor is of used to you. If you want to do it the professional way then you need to see a conveyancing solicitor, they’ll look at your deeds and hopefully identify your boundary. Depending on that conversation it might result in them having to contact your neighbours so...

*update* After consideration I wanted to give my neighbours opportunity to right their wrong so I sent them a letter asking for them to supply a replacement within a timeframe or I would have to escalate. This initially didn’t go down too well as he decided to verbally abuse me on my doorstep  ...

Should you have any trouble getting the police round, make a suggestion on social media that your neighbour is a “silly old Barsteward” and they’ll have six officers braying your door down before you can say “far right ageist lunatic”. Seriously, your best bet here is to allow the geezer to think h...

I’d just build a fence, just on your land, with a really ugly side facing the neighbours property. Thank them for removing the tree as that was the only thing stopping you from building the fence.
A fence has been mentioned!

My understanding is that they can remove any overhanging limbs on their property. Did they access your property to remove a tree in your garden? Tree roots can have structural implications. Tough one. Wish you good luck This Japanese Willow was around 4ft tall and at the bottom of the garden so roo...

I’ve been reading the Sycamore Gap thread with great interest as I have a similar style issue. Lee Briscoe was bad.
I’d rather have him at left back now, at whatever age he is, rather than this lad who looks like he did a couple of keepy uppies on Copacabana Beach whilst one of our recruitment team was on holiday in Brazil.

Moved to Burnley when I was 2. Originally from Sale but parents bought a business in Burnley in the early seventies after falling in love with the team of that era. I was only ever going to support one team because it’s all I know.

This has probably been told before but if you download your ticket onto your phone it adds 10 loyalty points every time you do it. A little hack if you want to increase your loyalty points for those away games that might be quite popular and could put you in the bracket to be able to buy earlier.
