Re. The penalty. For me common sense should come into play and , if anything, the attacking players clear simulation (ie falling forward despite being ‘pulled back’) should count against him. It doesn’t. He falls forward because Anthony let go. I’m afraid the physics work in this particular instance.

Assuming the offside graphic to be accurate, the line is drawn to Foster's shoulder, being the most advanced part of his body that he can legally use, and it is further forward than any part of the defender's body that can be legally used. Hence offside, correct decision, however close. ‘Assuming t...

Exceptional that season for us alongside Sam Vokes. Hard to believe how well it worked to be honest given neither of them had suggested they would be that good previously. He did more than OK during the PL season but I think it tailed off when everyone I think got a bit fed up of him because of his...

It wouldn't take much of an offer to make a good profit. It would be sad to see him go, he's been an unbelievable servant for what we paid, and i still struggle to think some Stoke fans didn't rate him. Always gives 100%, and always with a smile on his face. I think if Laurent wants regular footbal...

At the end of last season I’d have agreed with you, but he’s clearly part of the plans and just put in arguably his best performance for us. I think that puts him ahead of Worrall, though if we can move on Delcroix and loan out Beyer I think there’s room for all of them given Tuanzebe’s injury reco...
