Re: Burnley FC- What do we stand for?

I don't think its Corbynist to want the bogs in the Jimmy Mac to function properly. Or for us to be able to hold our heads up to say that we're socially inclusive? Do you?

Re: Burnley FC- What do we stand for?

What about using a huge amount of the money on Equality and inclusivity? Or lowering ticket prices? Or paying staff more money? Ensuring that the people who pour your pint get more than the national minimum wage? That would be a start?

Burnley FC- What do we stand for?

For me, our foreshortened European adventure has finally caused me to question my very allegiance to a club that I have followed home and away (and still do) for 50 years. They have been 50 years of struggle. My first year was '68. My first real memory (born of trauma no doubt) was of Swindon at hom...

Re: I hope olympiacos is our last euro tie this season

The article in the Mail: "Why Burnley must embrace Europe" Well, that didn't take long. Burnley lost at home on Sunday, so the Europa League is to blame. That only five players — including Joe Hart, the goalkeeper — started against Watford and the previous Thursday against Istanbul Basaksehir is se...

Re: Profit without fans

You are generalising but you have a point. This is about a club that that receives a huge amount of money from broadcasting rights. It is distributed in a variety of ways to ensure the well-being of the Club but the Club can do more to share this bounty with the fans thus ensuring the future loyalty...

Re: Profit without fans

I confess to being a little surprised about how callous some of the replies so far have been. What about those who use foodbanks? Those whose kids never see a holiday? Those families on the breadline and for whom a game of football is a luxury? Those fathers who would dearly wish to be able to take ...

Profit without fans

What a wonderful time to be a Claret. It's an even more wonderful time to be an affluent Claret. Tangible success to be seen almost everywhere- on the playing field, the training ground and in the community. This then is no curmudgeonly post which has its genesis in grumbling and moaning for its own...

Open letter to Gareth Southgate

Dear Mr Southgate, I write to you, I believe, on behalf of the majority of England fans. We are tired of England letting us down. We are tired of hearing about the so-called Golden Generation who won nowt and we are certainly sick of the sight and sound of Gary bloody Neville and Rio f’ ing Ferdinan...

Bony is a Dyche player. I’d sign him tomorrow. Stop
him going to the gym and inculcate him into the Burnley FC ethic and you’ll have a real player

A town isn't just bricks and mortar. It's much more than that and whatever it has, and i suspect that it is its people impressed these very mature Norwegian men.

Just bumped into 6 Norwegians wearing Claret and Blue going into their hotel in Manchester city centre. We got talking about the game. It was their first visit to the Turf. As I left them one said to me...It's a lovely town Burnley....
