Donnarumma is only 26 compared to Ederson who is 31. Donnarumma could be the number 1 there for the next 5-8 years.Holtyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 4:44 pmDonnarumma signing would probably prompt ederson out the door so no change really, Traff will be fully aware and continue his development as number two for a year or two.

Re: Summer transfer window
I don’t buy into the narrative that Ortega wouldn’t come here or we couldn’t afford him. He played for 1860 Munich and had 5 years or so at Arminia Bielefeld before going to City, we are a step up from that level playing in the premier league, I’d also imagine he is one of their lowest earners - 40...

Re: Summer transfer window
That's not fair on Ekdal, who had a good run of games as one of the best players on the pitch in a Championship-winning football team. It's a bit of a far cry from being skinned and then giving away a daft penalty to a promotion rival in a crunch game. I was thinking more about him joining a team i...

Did we see enough of him to judge that? I thought he looked quick and able to get up and down in a way I don’t think Roberts could. I may be wrong though, would have to look at him more. It seems a strange buy under Parker if he didn’t fancy him though. I get the impression he’ll end up being a sim...

Reports today are that Liam Delap wants to go to Chelsea joining his old City youth buddy Palmer. Considering that Traff and CJ are part of that same close knit group of pals it is easy to imagine them being attracted to a move (to Strasbourg in CJ’s case). I recall seeing at the weekend that JT is...

I think it's fair to say Worral will be the Egan Riley replacement if we don't go up, he was brought in to be first choice. The left centre back one would be interesting, surely Ekdal deserves a chance but he and Worral are a bit samey. So it could be a partnership of Worrall/Humphries and we spend...

Selling Trafford now wouldn’t be a smart move. Why would we risk disrupting statistically the best defence in English football? If we stop the clean sheets, we stop winning games. How many times have we scored more than 1 goal this season?

The football has been dull so far, there's no sugar-coating it. Considering the injuries and squad turnover, I think SP has done a good job. It will be interesting to see if he can find a way to improve things in an attacking sense, but I think we'll be around the Play-Offs by the end of the season....
