Re: Promoted sides doing far better than expected
Think a little bit of luck of the draw with timing/fixtures can make a big difference over the course of a season, e.g. if you get to play an out-of-sorts Wolves or West Ham at a time when confidence is low and prior to a change in form (normally due to a managerial change) then it gets points on th...

If we’re brave (and depending on their fitness) a bit of quality from Edwards or Broja off the bench could make the difference.

Can't believe there wasn't a club anywhere in Europe that would have taken Delcroix on loan. Agreed. Would imagine there’s been some interest but no agreement on how much of his wages the loan club would contribute to. Was an excellent servant and captain for us and I think most of us wish him only the best. Slightly surprised he’s made this move now as he’d probably get a similar deal in 2 or 3 years time, but that’s his choice. Think some have been overly critical of him as “never Premier League standard”. He’s ...

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Koleosho has had a frustrating last 18 months and still very raw for this level. He’s got potential, wouldn’t count as a squad place, and possesses the pace to be an asset on the break for a side that expects to be on the back foot most games this season. However, he’s down the pecking order in a sq...

A good move for him. Looks a decent prospect but we’re ridiculously overloaded with wingers and wide forwards so his pathway will be blocked. His stock has dropped considerably after a couple of years in the Prem and a quite a few high profile errors, but he was excellent in our promotion season under Kompany and for a team at that level looking to stretch the game (as Ipswich will be), he’d be a real asset.

I think our incoming business is done. We need to focus on trimming the fringe players and getting moves/loans for the players that need it. I’d agree that 2/3 of those centre backs would need to leave. Delcroix definitely and I’d personally prefer to keep Ekdal over Worrall but some might disagree.
