Re: Promoted sides doing far better than expected

Think a little bit of luck of the draw with timing/fixtures can make a big difference over the course of a season, e.g. if you get to play an out-of-sorts Wolves or West Ham at a time when confidence is low and prior to a change in form (normally due to a managerial change) then it gets points on th...

If we’re brave (and depending on their fitness) a bit of quality from Edwards or Broja off the bench could make the difference.
Expect some pressure from Forest now though…

Was an excellent servant and captain for us and I think most of us wish him only the best. Slightly surprised he’s made this move now as he’d probably get a similar deal in 2 or 3 years time, but that’s his choice. Koleosho has had a frustrating last 18 months and still very raw for this level. He’s got potential, wouldn’t count as a squad place, and possesses the pace to be an asset on the break for a side that expects to be on the back foot most games this season. However, he’s down the pecking order in a sq...

His stock has dropped considerably after a couple of years in the Prem and a quite a few high profile errors, but he was excellent in our promotion season under Kompany and for a team at that level looking to stretch the game (as Ipswich will be), he’d be a real asset.
