Re: West Ham United V The Clarets 2pm KO
We've just drawn away against a team 7th in the PL and still some are trying to find fault and criticise Kompany and the team. The true fans who were there today showed what they thought of the performance at the end of the game.

We can throw a lot at Kompany this season, but not today. Set the team up right to win the game. Sadly he's not in control of individuals at key moments in both boxes.

Re: No need to apologise
It's not the club model It's his model that he sold to the Board, and helped him convince Pace to spend circa £100m this summer on kids Not sure how many we actually signed this summer for £100m but that figure would have brought some reasonable experience into the side if Kompany had decided that ...

Good shout with introducing Benson. Perfect set up to get him cutting in on the right with Bournemouth pinned in. Micah Richards saying Burnley have been outstanding aside from both boxes - can't argue with that.

So much positive stuff in that first half. 'Bournemouth poor' etc they can't get out because of our set up and press. Good first half with the exception of the defensive mix up. Just need that goal to release the obvious pressure they're feeling in front of goal

Well said Vincent. Hope he shuts up all you fans lapping up the negativity around him and the players at the minute. After what he's done for the club since the scarily difficult period around May '22, he'll always have my full backing and gratitude. He's got a young team who clearly aren't ready fo...

It's really sad to see how some fans forget how bad things were at the end of the relegation season. Most of you on here are a disgrace to the fan base, waiting behind your keyboards excitedly for players to slip up so that you can spoute nonsense and constantly criticise. No doubt he wasn't great coming on last night, but he's an attacking winger who shouldn't have been put in that situation. Let'...

Awful decision. Rare that I feel bad when a player is sent off against Burnley, but that's one of the worse I've seen. He's backing out of the challenge and apologies immediately.

Irrelevant - Kompany chose to play him there. He was just as poor when he moved to left back.. Roberts was obviously poor tonight but most players were to be fair. Cork is another one who couldn't keep the ball all night

Decent player but vastly overrated - he can have moments of intelligent play but he lacks pace and ability to beat men in tight spaces. Mr Garlick stopped this squad developing in a normal way. No one else. Self funding exercise. Despicable. Not having that - we've been led to believe that Dyche has always had a big say in who we sign. Garlick may not have made much money available, but the signings (bar Cornet and Collins) have be...

Re: Time for the old reliables to be dropped?
Where to start with that performance? No intensity, creativity or apparent plan. Players taking the safe/easy option every time. Time has caught up with Dyche - years of prioritising grafting over creativity has left us with a squad (Cornet being the exception) that is totally void of attacking pres...

Main concern is why Lowton wasn't tucked in alongside Tarkowski when the play was down the left side. That's just basics of full back positioning.

Re: Dwight - time to work on strength conditioning
Probably one of many reasons why we usually just hoof from the back to clear our lines. It’s a bit like the Pope not being able to kick properly. I’d rather he be able to keep the ball out the net than be a good kicker. Likewise, I’d rather McNeil be trying to skin men and deliver a good cross whil...

Re: Dwight - time to work on strength conditioning
It is interesting how many times Dwight gets brushed off the ball (tonight's first was one example) and can't help but think he needs some upper body strength training. He's a slight fella so don't get me wrong, he won't be Traore nor would we want him to be - but he is extremely thin up top. Compa...

If you look at the state he was in when he joined Real Madrid, you’d think a bit differently. It’s never good seeing athletes struggle, but some put in a lot of work and still struggle. Hazard simply doesn't look after himself properly. You seem to know a lot about his fitness regime? You worked wi...

It's not a pet, and he doesn't own it. He's unlikely to be too emotional about one of many horses which he is temporarily looking after. Re: Really tough on the fans
The issue lies with the reliance we have on certain players (Mee and Tarkowski) and not having an appropriate level of back up. Personally, the reward of starting with one of them was worth the risk. I would have completely understood Dyche's selection had he not started with Tarkowski at Fulham awa...

Regardless of whether fans would've been at the game or not; to potentially have the opportunity of being one game away from a semi-final at Wembley should not have been sniffed at. Those clearances are usually challenged for by the strikers and then pressed by higher energy across a midfield 4. We were awful in possession yesterday - there's no doubt about that.
