Think you missed my point. No complaints from me about who we have but a growing concern over our ability to attract 'quality' that is of the level needed in this division. And that is an observation and not a complaint.

We do need players that can provide quality and a goal threat off the bench. I think the harsh reality of football at this level is beginning to show itself. The latter part of this thread has posters alluding to us being 'top heavy', large numbers but very short on quality to enable us to compete ...

Me either. Expecting he’d stay if we went down though, Sargent and Flemming would be a very good pairing at that level. Nothing like planning ahead is there? A team at the bottom can more afford a sick note player than a team at the top. e.g. if Wilson was fit for 15 games for us he could help us get 5 wins, and those 5 wins could be the difference. We need difference makers. Lot of 'ifs' and 'coulds'. Personally I'd stear clear of the likes of Wilson b...

Foster has never been brilliant. Not very good or even good. He has been very disappointing throughout his time at the club. He has had wonderful support, been given so much time but ultimately it hasn't worked out well for him nor us.

I disagree. One captain is what we need. He may have deputies but the role of the captain is probably undervalued and it is vital that we play to his directions and guidance. Who's going to listen to who if there are multiple captains?
