Re: Our Lack of Goals is Killing Us Big Time
Surely has to do something with having a fairly consistent starting line up for the last 4-6 weeks. Really think it has to do with Parker trying to figure out who is best 11 were/are. I think back to New Years Day against Stoke and we could have played all day and never scored. Still not convinced b...

Re: Win next two games and promoted
Draw next Friday and beat Sheffield and it’s done and dusted. Six point gap with two to play and miles better goal difference.

Re: Today's football
There is a big difference between a loss and a draw from Sheffield today. One point would have meant four behind instead of five. Now a point at Watford instead of a win will still mean we’re promoted next Monday if we beat them regardless if they win next Friday. Just need to hold our nerve.

Re: Barnes back??
Wow - can’t believe it. Posted his name in the Rovers line-up thread yesterday as he was what we needed for Saturday and sure enough he signs today. Great hold up player and should be good for Fleming to play in the 10 role. Rovers defenders will be bricking themselves now and won’t surprise me if t...

See if we can get him back on loan before Saturday. If not, I guess Foster.

Definitely has the skill and pace to beat a man, but after that doesn’t have a clue. I don’t think he tried to get to the byline once today. I think there left back was the overweight Gooch if I’m not mistaken. He just went inside and put his head down and ran into traffic. Agree with the previous p...

Re: Hannibal
A lot of good points on this one. Agree with everyone saying the right back should not even have been on the field. Hannibal won a 50/50 ball with home 30 seconds before and was away until he put his arms round him and pulled him down. How that’s not a yellow card when players get a yellow card for ...

Absolutely agree with previous posters. Surely Sarmiento had to stay on the pitch. Koleosho was the one to make way. Sarmiento out wide, Flemming, Jay, and Anthony. One of Cullen/Brownhill for Laurent. Just can’t believe Scott didn’t see it like we do.

Surprised there has been no post on this.
Clearly offside and the linesman on the far side is way behind play.

Re: Notts Forest: do you now have hope we will survive?
Interesting thread if I’m being honest. No offence to the OP but doesn’t matter if anyone has hope. (I know it’s a message board and it is a good topic for discussion.) What will be will be and a ‘true’ supporter will always have hope until it’s mathematically impossible. They will pull for every pl...

Saw someone mentioned this on another thread. Just interested to get the thoughts for those who saw his smile while walking down the touchline after his sending off. Was he talking with another sub warming up or was he cracking a smile because he knew he’d been hung out to dry by a pass he never sho...

First thing I noticed when I went in the club shop for a picture today was how sideways the trophy was. Great to get a picture next to it though. Well done BFC for setting it up for a couple of days. Overheard one of the staff saying one of the players dropped it during the celebrations. Hope VK fin...

Re: The Play Offs
Simple really - back in Rovers hands after today - win both and they’re in. Draw against Luton, win at Millwall and they need both West Brom and Sunderland to drop points at Swansea and Preston respectively. Definitely possible, but unlikely as both are playing for nothing. Lose to Luton and they ca...

Had a shocker last weekend at Norwich. Missed a blatant penalty for Norwich in the 1st half. Definite foul on Aaron’s. Let it get out of control. Hopefully he’s better on Friday.

Told my dad to watch out for Almiron when he signed from Atlanta. Went to a few games with him and Chris McCann playing together for Atlanta United about 4/5 years ago. Absolute quality and fast. Was surprised he didn’t do better when he first moved, but there’s a big difference to playing around th...

With trips to Sheff Utd and QPR in the middle.
Just for fun, predict how many points you think we’ll get from the next 8 games.
I’ll say 14

Absolute farce now. The only way this could be fair is that the ‘injured’ players are not eligible to play when the fixture is re-arranged. Season should be scrapped.

Just know one of our keepers scored at Burnden Park straight from a goal kick in the late 80’s, early 90’s. Can’t for the life of me think who it was. Windy as hell, though.
