ALK may get the plaudits for this innovation but Clive Holt first suggested this at Burnley in the late 80s. Yes, the technology didn't exist but the vision was there nonetheless.

I went on the Lowerhouse Todmorden game this afternoon. There were two sensational catches; one by the young lad who was Lowerhouse's wicket keeper diving to catch one that had looped over behind him. And a great diving one handed catch on the boundary by a Todmorden player.
