Re: First ever Rugby match live

Just got 2 tickets for the Broncos v Panthers game on Sunday. Wasn't hopefull when the virtual queue said there's nearly 10,000 people in front of me, then couldn't find 2 tickets together, but just kept refreshing. What a game it was. The Aussie commentators and post game interviews didn’t stop go...

Re: Broja- SP's view

Didn’t Sky Sports report the fee as £10m + £5m on potential bonuses? £10m seems a fair bit more realistic for what we paid based on his recent injury record. In fact I’d say the chances we have paid £20m are <1%. It is fascinating how the top side of fees are mentioned when a player isn’t doing too...

My point on Tuesday- which I’ll stand by- is that Chelsea Academy have developed a player who has spent 4 seasons playing in the Premier League and (when not injured) has managed a total of 8 goals. -And for the privilege of that glittering CV, we have had to fork out £20 million and another £10 mil...

To be fair it was a dead rubber of a match. Nothing to play for. Both teams resting players ready for the playoffs.

If you want a real RL match, in two weeks time it will fingers crossed be Wigan vs Leigh for a place at Old Trafford.

I saw peak Romario at the ‘94 World Cup and he has to be the most natural goal scorer there’s ever been. Just an effortless style and not many (if any) have scored as many over their career.

Good move.

English coach going abroad, gaining experience and knowledge , what’s not to like. A good move for him.

The lack of English coaches at the top level of football is marked. So to see one taking on a different challenge is refreshing to see.

I’m perplexed by both keeper signings by Pep tbh.

Enrique supposedly wanted someone better with his feet so got rid of Donnarumma for that reason, as well as his wage demands and I don’t think Trafford is elite level with his feet either. A strange one.

If the final sells out then it’ll be an average of 39,558. Not too shabby when compared to the highest averages for actual World Cups-

53k Germany 2006 and Brazil 2014
A fair bit behind the average of 69k in 1994 though

I don’t think it’s helped by playing all the games in massive stadiums tbh.
