Re: Beehole podcast - Why Florentino Luis could save Burnley's season
Great episode. Maybe I am a bit weird with this stuff but it tickled me when the episode is opened with "we have a portugese football journalist which may give you an indication of who we are going to be talking about first". Erm....you have already told me who we will be talking about when I have r...

Fulham goal at Chelsea ruled out by VAR. I’ve heard about it on the radio so haven’t seen it but the commentary team are appalled at the decision. Referee Rob Jones sent to the screen by Michael Salisbury. Bizarre decision. Nothing to suggest it wasn’t acceptable contact given the motion and the mo...

I like Zian but was surprised to see him at Spurs looking as if he had gained weight-his movement was slow too. Maybe. I guess we should see how it goes on Saturday first. I've already stated on this thread and others that I think these changes are unnecessary though, so I agree with your sentiment. Would that be a first in football? An organised protest about entrance and exit points? Or a protest about the impact it has on our elderly fans and the safety concerns in this decision? Maybe also add in there we are fed up of a FAB that gets advised on what the board want but no way of gathering ...

Not sure what can be done. Will be interesting to hear how it goes on saturday. If it’s a shamble, like we believe it will be, who is up for a protest in some way? Perhaps a sky home game where we can watch the game in town and make our feelings clear on this? Boost the local economy too at the same...

Wonder how empty the stand will look when we are out of games as surely fans will now think that I may as well leave a bit earlier to avoid that rush, having to wait for a later bus or trains etc.
Genuinely no idea what they are thinking with this.
Why can’t they hold away fans for 10 mins instead?

Gonna be a bottleneck after games at the gate at the corner of the JMc with 12,000 or so having to go through it! But never mind, the away fans will have a nice smooth exit! I would imagine there will be a portion of the north stand already exiting this way currently but get your point. Not sure if...

Wont be there on Saturday but its one way to push more people to find other ways of watching the game when they are making it more difficult for fans who pay and make the effort to come and support the team. It's easy for Oliver to do it to little old Burnley. Let's see if he wants to do it in high profile games between the top sides, or will he find something else to focus on for the initial few seconds the keeper has the ball? I can't but help with the team selection that Parker thought we would be playing against a team happy to sit back and play for the draw. Stoke took the game to us well and were 1st to every 2nd and 3rd ball. Not sure why we left it so late to make changes. It was clear that Stoke were just growing i...
