Re: Transfer window out of 10
A good window. A focus on what a relegation battling team needs, while retaining the team spirit which served us so well last year. As others have said, midfield is crucial and we aren’t going to be pushovers there at all. Connor Roberts will feature in that RWB I’d imagine, I think he’ll be alright...

Option not obligation. Doubt we can have an obligation if relegated. Its a mandatory clause announced by Benfica. Portugal has a rule that clubs must announce the full details of the transfers. Been announced as ‘an option to make permanent’ which is weird considering every man and their dog called it as an obligation to be permanent. Why would he do a full leaving video to Benfica fans if it was just for a season?
Anyway, on paper looks a cracking signing.

To be fair this is a loan deal for this season. (I assume similar to Amdouni where there’s a deal to sign him at the end of it, if we want to). In that sense I can see why he played today. It sounds like an obligation to buy, rather than option to buy, which was the case with Zeki. He’s our player,...

We’ve scored 4 in 3, to be fair. I feel ‘creativity’ isn’t too big an issue right now. For example, Larsen didn’t have a particularly great game yesterday, and some marked him a 4 in the ratings, yet he produced a sublime cross for Foster’s goal, and teed up Hannibal’s first half chance, with a clev...

Brentford’s keeper Kelleher looks overrated to me. Shocking for the second. The way the image is generated is by drawing a line at the ‘last possible onside position of the defender’, then in colour, the offside component of the attacker. Allowing a potential club record signing to play tonight if a deal is fully agreed doesn’t seem right to me. Eze didn’t play for Palace on the night a deal was agreed with Arsenal last week. Hopefully he’s correct saying the deal is done, but not on the last bit.

Yes I agree. But that situation is not unique to the Foster offside decision. And in any case, the assistant re...

Hannibal excelled last season on the left of a midfield 3, as a number 8 alongside Cullen (6) and Brownhill (8), or at times a second striker alongside Flemming (we never played with a traditional, between the lines, number 10).
