A good window. A focus on what a relegation battling team needs, while retaining the team spirit which served us so well last year. Been announced as ‘an option to make permanent’ which is weird considering every man and their dog called it as an obligation to be permanent. Why would he do a full leaving video to Benfica fans if it was just for a season?

Ramsey has got 5 other players ahead of him in midfield now. Getting back to 90 minutes every week is probably something he wants and we want, I think. Hopefully there’s a January break clause in case we have injuries.

Allowing a potential club record signing to play tonight if a deal is fully agreed doesn’t seem right to me. Eze didn’t play for Palace on the night a deal was agreed with Arsenal last week. Hopefully he’s correct saying the deal is done, but not on the last bit.
