Re: Why do you support Burnley?
Born in Kent and grew up supporting Man Utd for my woes but after they won the treble in 1999 I decided I didn't want to be a glory hunter anymore and wanted more self flagellation in my life. My mum is from Nelson so eventually I got taken to the Turf by my uncle's mate (my uncle was having a hiatu...

Re: Who would be able to make the step up
At the end of the day I think a lot of the lads have to be given a chance. You can't substitute cohesion, would defo like to see the likes of Cullen be kept on as a starter but obviously if it's too much then resolve it. He did ok last year though when he was finally included.

Who would be able to make the step up
Who do we think could make the step up to the prem if we got promoted? I think it's important to keep as much as the promoted playing squad together as possible when you go up as highlighted last year and by many other sides who dismantle their teams on reaching the promised land. Of course the gulf...

When QPR got promoted with Colin he told Taarabt to never track back and just doing his thing. As mentioned earlier you can get away with it in this league if you have one player good enough, certainly not if we go up mind.

Brentford strongly linked to signing CB Sepp Van den Berg from Liverpool for around £20m which might mean their interest in O'Shea has cooled.

Re: If Leverkusen do the treble unbeaten
They're playing games trying not to lose, instead of trying to win, and it's making them a poorer team. I hope they do it, but do it in style. They've won 40 of the 49 games in their unbeaten run. I watched their game last night as well as they were attacking for the majority of the game, should ha...

Seriously people have an agenda against VK? He gave us an unbelievable season last year but this season is nothing short of garbage. It wasn't a foul no matter what angle you look at Trafford is at fault. Drawing at home to Luton isn't improving, we are going worse. It was a foul from several angle...

Mate it was never a foul in a million Sundays, he cocked up.... school boys in a man's game do. If Luton have been better than us after what we have spent then WHY? No mate, we were gash again tonight and completely dominated by a route 1 side. Over 60% possession for a pretty woeful team like Luton at home is really poor IMO. We have to start planning for next season now, because this season has been an absolute disaster. What did Luton actually create? You t...

Liverpool Clarets
Hi all just wondering if there are many Clarets based in Liverpool and if any meet up at all to watch games at the pub etc when not going to the turf?
Haven't been here that long having moved up from London so would be good to meet up with some fellow scouse clarets from time to time.

I may well detract from the status quo as I'm not from Burnley even though I love them to bits. Gotta say though I'm buzzing for Sunday and what I love about it is how everyone comes together, even those that don't even like football, such as the mrs. Just a proper love in.
