Stadium gigs are a complete rip off and have been for some time. Factor in the sound issues that adverse weather, or even a stadium not designed for music, can create means I simply won't bother. The situation with Defour was the one disappointment in a fantastic season. Sorely underused and head and shoulders above anyone I've ever seen in a Burnley shirt, and the man we could have built the team around rather than shoehorn into positions or systems that did not fit his overwhelming ability...

I'm looking at booking a week for me and the Mrs in September, and before I do I wouldn't mind a bit more info - We'd be flying to Tivat, so where is best to stay around there for a 'summer holiday' type holiday - Kotor, Tivat or anywhere else? Favourite in terms of accom appears to be Tivat so far....

The day we signed Chris Vinnicombe I saw him walking down Charter Walk and as a wide eyed 10 year old, approached him and welcomed him to Burnley - he was an absolute gent but was wearing a really bad shell suit.
