Keep up the good work, BHC!

The only one I would have got was Peter Rodrigues, and I have no recollection of his having played for Sheffield Wed

And how many syllables in Rodrigues?

A great day. Don't remember the Welsh national anthem, but I think it was a rule of the FA Cup that the home side changed shirts if there was a clash. Have just looked up the crowd, and it was 35,500. Pretty sure that there can't have been a higher attendance since then. The home game against Leeds ...

One of the great ugly grounds of English football. Stoke were doing well in the 1970s until the wind took the roof off the Butler Street Stand and they had to sell some of their best players to pay for the repairs.

David Herd (later of Arsenal and Manchester United) played alongside his father for Stockport in the early 1950s. A very underrated player if you look at his goalscoring record.

This is like the old 'You are the Ref' in Shoot! What happens if an attacking player handles the ball and it goes in off a defender? Foshiznik--thanks for this. I did have a look at the law but lost the will to live half way through. Would be interesting to know if McBurnie realised this. And if Walker didn't. And, even though it was the correct decision, whether this actually was the reason it was not given offside. The old offs...

Like others, I was surprised not much was made of this. On the Man City goal at Sheffield, it was mentioned (briefly) that McBurnie was played onside by Kyle Walker, who up against the advertising boards at this point. I suppose his position is taken to be at the point where he left the playing area...
