Re: **** VAR
Parker’s post match interview is spot on: VAR has made the game boring by taking fans out of the moment. At its worst, it’s made the game immensely frustrating and open to allegations of corruption. How are referees so bad with so much money in the game? The whole thing really turns me off football...

Hotel Bins
Has anyone ever managed to place an item in a hotel room bin without the bin liner popping away from its edges? Why do they insert it like a balloon? And tuck your sheets in like a straight jacket? Surely nobody asks for this?

Bit of a soft lad isn't he? Maybe a generational thing. Kind of character my kids tell me off for criticising. Maybe they are right and I'm wrong. In fact, most probably. In my eyes he'd be better shutting up and cracking on with getting a new team. In their eyes he's being real and in touch with hi...

Re: THE SUPER CLARETS vs Derby County - Match Thread
Tresor has a touch of quality in the final third other players don’t. Special mention to Banel I thought he was a strange signing but he looks to have something. Maybe one to watch this season Did well did Banel. Very positive. Unlike Edwards. Can't see him getting many minutes. Hasn't got a footba...

Re: Toon v Liverpool
Wasn't suggesting that the individual game was rigged but the system is rigged to keep those already at the top at the top in future. It's not an even contest at all. All the Isak uncertainty etc is all part of that and that helped Liverpool last night without a doubt.

Was a great game of football but I can't help feel depressed at the predictability of it all. There are no happy endings in football and the whole thing seems rigged towards the top sides. It's like it's great to watch but heartbreaking to witness at the same time. Not this specific result, just the...

Funny creatures Burnley fans. The number pining for Tresor to be given a chance whilst players who actually got us up like Hannibal are gladly cast aside as no longer good enough for us before a ball is even kicked! Wonderful motivation for putting a shift in and doing well.

His tackling worries me. He's obviously a big strong lad, protects the ball ok. A good range of passing, but the thing that stood out for me was 90% of his tackles he ended up on the deck. That's a bad trait in any league, but definitely in the Prem. You can't race back in defence if you're sat on ...

Lovely gesture. Wonder how many qualifying fans they have? Apologies to Carter. When defending a box today she was excellent. Ref absolute dogshit. Some of those calls were abysmal. The Spanish stop, drop and roll. I can understand the tactics for the first 15-20 mins of an away game to kill the crowd, slow the game down etc. But this goes on the whole match.
