Always thought he looked too lightweight, especially for the PL. I sometimes wonder if it’s worth having him for the free kicks alone though - he’s genuinely world class in that respect.

We played some good stuff first half, but our forward players seem to be afraid to shoot. Anthony quilts on a few occasions passing when shooting looked the better option, Foster and Hannibal as well.

Do we know how many minutes he has actually played to score his 1 per 6 games? The stats I saw only show appearances, thus a time-wasting 92nd minute sub appearance looks as good/bad as a whole game. In the premier league it looks like he’s only averaged around 40mins per appearance, scoring 8 goal...

I imagine a fairly high proportion of “members” will live within fairly easy travel-distance to London - I.e. don’t want a season ticket but want to be able to get to a fair few away games, which makes the decision not to take a full allocation for this game all the more ludicrous.

It must be difficult for a team to hold it together when they have a keeper like Meslier behind them. The whole place from the pitch to the stands must collectively **** itself whenever the ball goes near him.
Truly astonishing that they haven’t replaced him by now.

Parker ball is awful. Strikers don’t move. Literally stand still for 90 minutes. Don’t run Channels. Shite I’m not sure this is true. Bodes well for tonight. Thought the article was spot on. Parker has done a brilliant job getting us where we are with the hand he was dealt, but the football is very boring, we are devoid of creativity and don’t score nearly enough goals.
