Re the penalty decision, for me the most telling comment came from the MoTD commentator, whose immediate reaction when Amad went down was “he’ll get nothing for that.” It just didn’t look like a penalty - that’s why the ref didn’t give it.

Always thought he looked too lightweight, especially for the PL. I sometimes wonder if it’s worth having him for the free kicks alone though - he’s genuinely world class in that respect.

We played some good stuff first half, but our forward players seem to be afraid to shoot. Anthony quilts on a few occasions passing when shooting looked the better option, Foster and Hannibal as well.

Do we know how many minutes he has actually played to score his 1 per 6 games? The stats I saw only show appearances, thus a time-wasting 92nd minute sub appearance looks as good/bad as a whole game. In the premier league it looks like he’s only averaged around 40mins per appearance, scoring 8 goal...

I imagine a fairly high proportion of “members” will live within fairly easy travel-distance to London - I.e. don’t want a season ticket but want to be able to get to a fair few away games, which makes the decision not to take a full allocation for this game all the more ludicrous.

Went on just before 10am and it couldn’t/wouldn’t give me two seats together. Eventually managed to buy two separately bit reasonably close. Just keep trying if it tells you there are none available.
