Re: French air traffic control strike!
I think its easier to assume the French ATC are always on strike unless told otherwise. You gotta admire the French for the shear audacity to stike at almost any given time in any organisation. I love the story of the French riot police who, during a strike they were residing over, we caught drinkin...

Hello fellow Clarets, Yes, how long's a piece of string. It all depends on how many people you're booking for and their ages etc. The ecc family, my beloved and I and our two sons, visited Amsterdam a month back. My son travels a lot in Europe and is a bit of a flight/accommodation wizard (I'm a no...

Do you have a link? Getting in cold water or exposing your body to very cold temperatures ( the sea / a plunge pool / ice bath / whatever ) causes blood vessels to constrict in a process called vasoconstriction. That's proven medical science. When people say getting into cold water "takes your brea...

West Brom for me. I've been a number of times but this year is as close I've got to a win. I remember Koumas and Ellington ripping us apart in the mid noughties. I've seen at least a couple of hammerings down there. I was at that game, Nov 2006. My one and only trip to the Hawthorns. Rushing off fr...

What is your "bogey" ground?
As per title, what ground have you visited as a Burnley fan where something just never goes right and you have bad memories? Mine is Vicarage Road. Think I've seen us win there once in 5 visits. Some frustrating memories - the infamous quarter final (less said about that the better). And going there...

At what point do you have to admit that the draws are just part of a teams normal return across a seasons worth of fixtures? They weren't 1-1 or 2-2 draws, some of them were very poor 0-0 draws against very poor sides earlier in the season where we had massive amounts of possession and no clinical ...

The division isn't awash with goals this season..... for whatever reason, it's a very low scoring division compared to the last 3 years or so. I did some digging and you are correct. Mad that of the 2 of the current top 3 teams, goals scored this season would have been met by 11 teams in 22/23. Rea...

Don't know the extent of the abuse but do their players deserve this after the season they've put in? I think that's what Wilder is trying to say in a very emotive way. I can't see Leeds dropping from here on out, unless they take a big big wobble or have some serious injuries.
Sheff Utd are such a mixed bag (as are we) but I feel they are more than likely the team to drop 5 points in a few games and we can pounce on them.
