Let's not overlook the respectful and sporting applause the Sunderland contingent gave Willie before kickoff.
Sort of the bare minimum you’d expect, really.
I was also surprised by how quiet they were considering their numbers.

Slightly critical of the signing but it’s only fair to say he played well yesterday. Decent save in the first half and generally looked comfortable and commanding, except for one slightly off punch out later on.

It wasn’t too bad but now have a longer walk and takes longer to get off. Liked the pre match music. The goal music was, as it always is, dreadful and tinpot.

Usual story. The proper fans are realistic and good to talk to today. The gobby newcomers online were arrogantly caught out and learned a few realities about Premier League football.

Nuno has just done a press conference where he's basically confirmed the relationship with the owner has considerably broken down.
While I'm no fan of Marinakis, they have spent quite a bit, despite losing Elanga, so his comments about the squad are slightly odd.

I don’t mind the guy as much as some on here, but it really did seem like he was encountering these names for the first time yesterday, which is incredibly amateur and unprofessional.

He’s totally out of order for calling the guy out by name. It’s his livelihood and if a player wanted to use his services, that’s down to the player. Injuries can happen at any time. Looks like Josh Brownhill and Armando Broja have worked with him so he’s clearly well regarded.

I wouldn't be too cocksure about that whilst there's time. Fair enough if the interest remains solely with leicester but I've got a feeling as targets are missed & the TW draws nearer he'll get picked off by somebody he's good enough as a bench option for a mid to lower PL team. Cocksure about what...

You get the impression his agents have been writing cheques that they can't cash. The only club I've seen with concrete interest are Leicester but that would just be a bizarre move consider he had a Premier League contract on the table for him.

Solid signing for a season, I suppose. We definitely needed a legitimate #1. I don't know why but I just don't share everyone else's delight. For some reason, I didn't fancy him at all. I saw him as a bit lightweight, at times, in the limited amount I saw him last 5 or 6 years. Glad to be wrong. I ...

Inevitable after his training ground scrap with Connor, wish him all the best, he made a real effort to understand the area and people.
Is this common knowledge??
All the best to him - took the time to learn about and respect the town and club.

Stuggart fans seem to rate him as a squad player but they think they have our pants down for the fee.
Their manager is heavily focusing on youth which explains his involvement there.
He's probably a bit better than Anthony.
They think they’ve had our pants down for a fee of €4m??

Wasn't he quite a decent player at Swansea? Main issue seemed to be that he’d had some run ins with Russell Martin, the manager at the time. Sometimes a signing doesn’t work out.

I couldn't hear that (Keith in Firestarter) - must have been well down in the mix. The song's so well known they don't need the vocals to be honest, people just fill it in in their head. Yeah, should clarify, there's only Keith's vocal excerpts when they're showing the big light tribute to him duri...

Does someone else do vocals for the songs that Keith Flint used to lead sing on or do they just do other songs?
Maxim fills in with the vocals. Though they kept Keith’s original vocals in on Firestarter as a tribute.

Great set but Out of Space deserves more than a minute or whatever that was! That was my only criticism really - thought they moved on a bit too quick from Firestarter and No Good (Start the Dance) too. They undeniably know how to put on a show though and you’re guaranteed a great time.

Surprised there hasn’t been a mention for the 1975 yet. Matty Healy is a deliberately provocative and arrogant frontman, and will definitely divide taste, but thought their set was actually very good. Raye has a great voice, but none of the tunes really hit like you want them to. Ends up coming acr...

That's a feeble excuse. If you're good enough, you don't need guests and gimmicks.
It’s not an excuse - I’m just saying a solo headliner set can be improved with a few guests especially considering a number of her tracks are duets. A good number of headliners have done it.

A bit of a potty mouth, isn't she?
I think she’s overcompensating for being from Cambridge.
The slower tracks have sounded better in this set I think. It’s a shame she hasn’t had any guests because it’s difficult for a solo act to headline just on their own.

Frank was appointed in the Championship with a strong team at that level though. He’d also managed previously in Denmark. This seems much riskier - big players leaving, including the captain, and bringing in a guy with zero managerial experience, who wasn’t even assistant last season.
