Re: **** VAR
As far as I'm aware the point of this research still stands. The technology is not capable of definitive decisions on tight offsides. The fancy new graphics are an attempt to make it look somehow more convincing. It's not just offsides that are the problem, many other decisions have a degree of subj...

Re: **** VAR
For anyone who's interested here's an article which as far as I'm aware pretty much proves that it is nigh on impossible to definitively prove tight offside decisions with the technology available. The new computer graphics etc. are a further attempt to make something look foolproof when it really i...

Re: Colonoscopy - advice
It's all very personal.
I've had colonoscopies, cystoscopies (camera up the urethra into the bladder) and various eye procedures.
I've found them uncomfortable but bearable.
I would say the colonoscopy was probably the least uncomfortable.
Good luck, hope everything goes OK.

It's weird, because barring an absolutely shocking run we're not going to miss the playoffs. We're eighteen points clear of seventh. We'd be better throwing the kitchen sink at the last twenty minutes of games like Preston/Stoke/Portsmouth etc., and risk losing a point to try and gain three. Maybe P...

Needs to change Sarmiento/Anthony so we can keep possession, and Laurent so he doesn't get a second yellow, but he'll probably wait until they score.

Not that bad a performance, it's just that with the squad we actually have available we're not really any better than most of the teams we're playing.
We're doing OK considering we don't actually have a centre forward available who Parker feels is worth playing for more than ten minutes.

Millwall are no mugs, they'll be seventh if they beat us. We are nowhere near good enough to think we can pitch up at their place and help ourselves to three points. Lucky to go in at 0-0.
Cullen off at halftime. Unfortunately their tactics are rendering him completely ineffective, and he isn't really physical enough to compete with them on their terms.
Possibly Hannibal on, but in a game like this he's a red card waiting to happen.
