Saw him in (?)2016 at the Apollo in Manchester, and he looked quite frail even then. The word genius is used far too often, but he was undoubtedly a ground breaking visionary in the field of sound recording/production, and wrote some truly wonderful songs. By all accounts he was a troubled soul, may...

It's weird, because barring an absolutely shocking run we're not going to miss the playoffs. We're eighteen points clear of seventh. We'd be better throwing the kitchen sink at the last twenty minutes of games like Preston/Stoke/Portsmouth etc., and risk losing a point to try and gain three. Maybe P...

10:00 just after Tresor plays the ball, I don't think I've ever seen a professional footballer looking less interested in getting into the box. He might as well have sat down and pulled out a book. Strange that he made himself available if there is a problem, and you can't question his ability. http...

Parker is incapable of being proactive.
Needs to change Sarmiento/Anthony so we can keep possession, and Laurent so he doesn't get a second yellow, but he'll probably wait until they score.

Stoke is rapidly becoming a very difficult club to manage. I live in the Potteries, and the locals aren't happy. Walters appears to be destroying the club with his huge ego, despite having none of the skills/experience of a proper DOF. He didn't exactly pull up trees at Fleetwood. Apparently he sack...

Sheffield United have looked really poor, but maybe that's because we've been excellent defensively and without the ball. Whatever the reason, I think there are no stand out teams in the Championship this season, and the gulf between it and the Premier League is bigger than ever. Oh, and Tom Davies ...

Odd that it's taken until seventy minutes for SP to end up with all the pegs in the right shaped holes.

We're a more effective attacking unit when we play an actual centre forward, whoever it is.
Feel a bit sorry for Flemming.

Not seen enough of Hountondji to figure out if he's good enough, but surely if he's worth a place on the bench we should be playing an actual forward in the last ten minutes of a game like this.

Should be more open now that Coventry have to push to get something from the game.
It'll be interesting to see if we can get in behind, especially down the right.
Hopefully we won't sit back and sit on a one goal lead.

It's very different than Dyche, or Kompany (in the Championship at least). In games like this under Dyche there was a frantic attempt at getting it up the pitch and trying make something happen. In Kompany's Championship season it always felt that we had the quality to make a bit of magic happen. N...

Not that bad a performance, it's just that with the squad we actually have available we're not really any better than most of the teams we're playing.
We're doing OK considering we don't actually have a centre forward available who Parker feels is worth playing for more than ten minutes.

But we did score and a good goal at that. We also missed a header and a one on one.
Yes, you're right. Terrible decision, should have had the three points thinking about it now. We were definitely the better side, can't remember Trafford having much to do.

Ah well, looks like another draw. A point away at the team who will go fifth isn't a bad result. Not sure if we had anything on the bench that would have made much difference. We were definitely better tonight, without ever really looking like scoring. By all accounts we turned down £25 million for ...

Millwall are no mugs, they'll be seventh if they beat us. We are nowhere near good enough to think we can pitch up at their place and help ourselves to three points. We're a centre forward short (possibly two to be honest), and Parker does seem to have a very defensive mindset. Interesting to see wh...

That's been coming to be honest. They looked dangerous from set pieces in the last ten minutes of the first half. We don't look like scoring, but I'm not seeing much on the bench either. It's not really being behind that's the issue it's that we really don't look like we've got a goal anywhere in th...

Lucky to go in at 0-0.
Cullen off at halftime. Unfortunately their tactics are rendering him completely ineffective, and he isn't really physical enough to compete with them on their terms.
Possibly Hannibal on, but in a game like this he's a red card waiting to happen.

Was a season ticket holder for 10+ years but don't get to too many games these days, as I live in the Midlands, and work etc. gets in the way. Not that many positives today, apart from the fact that Esteve looks like he will be a fantastic player. I'll be surprised if doesn't end up as a full international for France.

Preston closing down well, defending superbly, and Koleosho/Anthony being well managed.
We really don't look like scoring.
Tough watch so far, it would be nice to see some changes that make it look like we're pushing for a win rather than settling for a point.

Esteve basically covering for the rest of the back four, and Foster offering virtually nothing.
Hannibal off for Flemming, and Jay on for Foster. Also don't like Egan-Riley at CB, with Humphreys at RB.

Three points away at Leeds is a fantastic result, no matter how you get it. Understandably we're looking tired after putting in such a shift. Lots of positives (especially Flemming and Trafford), and a few negatives (Worrall looks a bit limited, Laurent is a squad player at best, and Humphreys has h...

There is a time where it's completely acceptable to lump it down to the other end of the pitch.

Ended up getting tea and coffee for free.
They weren't showing up on the ordering system. Asked staff behind the counter how to order them, someone (I assume with some vague authority) said to just give them to us.
Calling it shambolic is too kind.

Just watching the highlights. City's second goal, awful. City's third goal, not great. Looked all over the place on a couple of other occasions. Difficult to judge against City, especially when Haaland's playing, because he terrorises poor defences, but bless him he looks like he could be in for a s...

They got incredibly lucky with the promotion season which papered over the cracks caused by buying a club with leveraged debt. The 'model' of ownership obviously involves trying to maximise the income from sale of assets (i.e.players) to service said debt now that guaranteed income has been lost fol...
