What does being a town club have to do with anything ? It has everything to do with it. The cost of a new stadium is often offset by it hosting gigs and events etc but those are always going to go to Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackburn, even Halifax's Piece Hall before they come to Burnley. The only loss here is that we should've tried to sell him last summer. He looks like a good player but only for about thirty seconds every game. He's quick but has one good shot every six months and one half decent cross every twelve months. Hope he kicks on. Nice place to be living.
