Re: Interesting story coming out of Colne
Definitely some truth in this story. I saw the bike parked up on the pavement surrounded by Police cars etc the other night but it wasn't outside the Police station. Couldn't see what was going on as i was driving at the time. Assumed that they'd stopped a stolen bike.

I’ve been in the back of many transit vans and a couple of Luton ‘s but none of those trips were Sensible! Remember going to Hull first game of the season under John Bond. Must have been over 20 of us in the back of a Luton van all drinking crates of beer. On the way back on the M62 the tail gate w...

Re: Cycling - Colne Grand Prix tonjght
I cringe having to drive through Colne with all the pot holes in the road, let alone ride a bike at high speed. Just hope there no cyclists injured caused by the terrible road conditions, seems totally impractical to me.

Massive fan of Barnes. I think it was a mistake to let him to. His personality both on and off the pitch would surely have helped bring on some of the younger / inexperienced players. For me, a lot of his off the ball work was very much under appreciated particularly when defending and attacking at ...

Re: ARTICLE: Bellamy confirmed as Kompany’s assistant
I always thought S Stones promotion to first team coaching staff was a strange appointment particularly as SD was very particular about signing players with the right attitude etc. Especially so after the allegations of bullying. Perhaps this was a poor move by Dyche which contributed to our eventua...

Re: RIP Jack Markham - Walton High
Great thread brought back some good memories. I left in 1981. Nice to see a pic of Mrs Howarth after all these years. She was my form teacher for all 5 years at WHS. At one period she lived a couple of streets away and drove a green Citroen 2CV. Mr Sayle was a regular in the Jimmy Mac Upper for many...

its a YES from me !
TVC15 makes some excellent suggestions.
Would also like to see designs of shirts that were rejected and 3rd choice strips that were rarely used.

Re: How many Burnley shirts do you have?
50+, although I stopped collecting a few years ago so haven't bothered with recent away shirts. Got pretty much all home and away from 75 up to about 2012. Martin_P i'm guessing that you're responsible for The History of the Burnley shirt Flickr site? Great reference - pity you stopped updating it....

Re: How many Burnley shirts do you have?
I have amassed 200+ shirts in the past 5 years, my aim is to have an example of every home & away shirt going back as far as i can. There are still plenty of gaps i'd like to fill, particularly from the pre-Endsleigh era. My favourite shirt is from the mid to late 70s, the claret shirt with the blue...

A Lincoln supporting friend of mine couldn't get a ticket for the game but asked me to get him a programme, which i did, carefully wrapped it in a poly bag to keep it dry & prestine, placed it under my seat and then at the end of the game forgot all about it. :( Unfortunately i can't get to the club...

Turf Moor Memorial Garden Crowd Funding
Following the Southampton game i noticed a rather forlorn banner attached to the railings behind the Jimmy Mac stand advertising a Turf Moor Memorial garden. Having recently lost a relative who was up until ill health a season ticket holder for many years i though what a great idea, must look into i...
