S1 Ep158 has some good colour footage of BFC from the sixties. Shows Alex Elder signing on and training on the cinders at the back of the Longside. I’ve seen it before, but if you haven’t, go to the TPTV website and look for the archive material.

But if you watched CJ last night, his passes on the ground were made with pace every time. Couple this with his uncanny knack of finding his man with 50 yard passes, he certainly bucks the trend. A quick update. The first print last year sold out in about four months. I am investigating the feasibility of reprinting a small quantity and am currently awaiting a reply from the printer.

The fact that Parker is Chief Coach and Kompany was Manager, tells me who the board are pointing the finger at. Maybe, just maybe, they should shoulder some of the blame for allowing Kompany enough rope to hang us true supporters out to dry!

Anyone know how he is doing? Unless I missed something, not much has been said about him recently. He tore the Championship up last time round and I have him as a key player next season. Providing, that is, that he returns in good time and is back to where he was. Rehab is a long process.

If you like fish, the Fishing Boat Inn at Boulmer is a great place. If you like walking put Ingram into your satnav, about 35 minutes up the 697 from Rothbury.
