Re: Kierby hotel sold
Cross Keys looks a lot better now the sandblasting etc has been done. It did open up as a cafe bar called Winter Lotus but I’m not sure if that is still open? If there are no plans for the Keirby it just needs to go, it’s an absolute blight on the town. The Winter Lotus was kicked out at very short...

Re: Maxime Estève Scouting Report
I was surprised watching the EFL award highlights that he had played as a winger until he was was 19. I don’t know how true that is, but if he genuinely only has been a centre half for 3-4 years, it’s incredible how quickly he’s become an outstanding prospect. It's very true, he said so himself dur...

Re: Sunderland’s second penalty
I’ve seen a thread on the first penalty, which I think every man and his dog agree can’t be a penalty. But the second one seems worthy of more debate. It looks a clear penalty to me. Sonne unnecessarily slides in and whilst Cirkin’s foot lands on Sonne, I’m not sure where else he’s supposed to put ...

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Seems quite reasonable PC. MJ is 25, hardly fair or relevant to consider his stats when he was 17. A good barometer would be how he performed in a top half championship team last season. Just being realistic, 9 assists in the last 3 years isn't great from a winger. But any signing by the club will ...

Looking forward to bringing in wingers who are more productive than Vitinho & Koleosho. One is a good squad player and the other has potential but we should be looking at players with regular assists and goals this season (guy from Celtic for example) I’m staying positive. Part of me can’t believe ...

New home shirt labelled at £76
Mentioned previously about the inflated prices. The new home shirt which I've just got from the club shop is actually labelled up at £76. The label is covering the original label that shows £55. I wonder if there was temptation to try and sell them for £76.
