Re: **** VAR

Simplest way to say is if any part of the attacking player is in line with the defending player, then he’s onside So if the attackers back foot is in line with the defending front foot then onside But this just swaps one problem for another. You then sometimes have to mark the back of one player. A...

daylight is an absolute. you can either see it or you can't. but i'll settle for clear daylight. that won't simplify it. a millimeter is still a millimeter even on a football boot. daylight is the answer because it's either there or it isn't. imagine var taking 8 seconds rather than 8 minutes. All depends on how the game goes. They have created chances against Arsenal and Fulham. If they take one, pressure is off, and we will find it very difficult to get back into it. But if they aren't ahead at half time then I can see it turning very toxic, similar to that win away at WHU a few years ago

Just occurred to me that 90 minutes tonight feels impossible for Sonne to be in a back 5 on Saturday, given how Scott is managing the minutes. So that could be a 4. I get it with the player ratings, but why is the MotM vote limited to time played? Say someone had come on with 10 minutes left, we are 2-0 down, and then he scores one and sets up another. Then scores a winning pen in the shootout. His contribution would have been undoubtedly worthy of MotM, but he...
