Re: ARTICLE: Our greatest goalscorer Willie Irvine dies

Very sad news. I never saw Willie Irvine play, but I know how big a part he played in the history of our club. Moreover, from all these messages, it is most clear what a stand out gentleman he was.

Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with Willie Irvine's family and friends.

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome

For anyone who reads the Sunday Times there is an interesting article on Chelsea which seems very similar to the Burnley approach. References to players being dots on a sheet and seen as completely expendable. I am reserving full judgement until post transfer window, but no one can pretend this is p...

Re: ARTICLE: Vincent Kompany departs for Bayern Munich

I do feel a few people are over reacting to Kompany's departure seeing negatives where they may not exist. Is he confident and arrogant in places, yes. But doesn't mean he lacks talent. Plus I read the bold comment in the interview above as a joke from Kompany, a self deprecating comment noting how ...

Of course, VK was willing to sign the deal, surely knowing that the club would get a big cheque if he left. I am disappointed he is leaving, but the way it is now VK is bad here, there and everywhere seems an over reaction to me.

Our group has bought an additional ticket near us to secure the ticket. But was just wondering if swaps had finished for previous season ticket holders to know if any seats closer to us may come up we can swap to. Or whether non renewals have been released yet.

He had a good match. His passing is excellent and crucially he does it rapidly; that helps our momentum in attack. Morning all.

It has been a while since I've been to Manchester and thus my roads and parking knowledge is gone. Any tips on the best place to park for the AO Arena, coming to the city from the M62 direction? I want to avoid the post-event parking queues :D
