Re: Out of my tiny mind - YT
A bit harsh on Walker, a 90+ England cap man who could prove a very good signing. West Auckland World Cup win is much celebrated in the north east. Agree that we have had a decent transfer session so far but fully agree with your views on the differences between clubs spending over £50 million on on...

Just read this, outstanding cricketer but riddled with self doubt. Upset with enforced England retirement given to him in Manchester pub by Stokes, Key and Baz, truanting from St Teds, roughing up adult batsmen in Burnley nets, Lancs and England dressing rooms. Much technical stuff on fast bowling, ...

Finally knighted at the palace today, some 40 years too late. Discriminated against in Cardiff so moved to Wigan and rugby league. Prolific try scorer, unstoppable on his day, I saw a linesman break his leg avoiding Billy at Rochdale Hornets. A supreme gentleman arise Sir Billy.

A pity that WIndies always fall short, was at Riverside on Friday where it was a similar story. England bat well down the order but the bowling is average and we are being flattered by the opposition.

Pulled a stump out of the ground and smacked Ces Abrahams over the head with it during a Central Lancs League game and he branded his wife with a hot iron. A complete collapse of batting, technique, how to build and pace an innings, these all absent. Buttler an uninspiring captain, a battery of ill disciplined pace bowlers and nobody to accompany Rashid. Winning in India does not come easy but this lot and their coach are clueless.
