Re: Josh Laurent
Is that not an issue though? You get promoted with a solid framework where every players knows their job in the team. Now you do a 360 and start playing square pegs in round holes, putting players in new unfamiliar roles in a new league. I think Parker is trying to do what he did last season-- Make...

i don't think I'm over-reacting when I compare our result against a specific team to the result achieved by a team that we have beaten. I'm just suggesting that we need to wake up. I think Ipswich should let them score from kick-off in a show of fair play when it's replayed.
Then beat them 5-1.

There’s comments on this (and other) threads that make you realise that people are just waiting for a bad result to pounce on Parker. It’s generally accepted that Parker and the squad have done well so far this season in spite of a tough set of opening fixtures. One poor performance from the reserv...

We have a big squad, and SP has to keep players happy and also see if anyone can play their way into the bench/starting positions. Nothing wrong with the selection tonight at all. I don't blame the selection so far, I think we've got more than enough to win the game, people are acting like we've pu...

Trafford was bought because he's English and home grown, he's a good keeper and he'll have an excellent career but he's a long way off being good enough for a team that can afford to have the best player in the world in every position right now.

A right wing back would be my top priority. I think we are fine at centre half, once Humphries is back in. They're getting worse comparatively to English sides. Don't get me wrong both clubs are still capable of pulling a result off against decent opposition but they wouldn't do it consistently over a season. It's always given them a false sense of where they rank in the football pyramid to be honest.
