Let's put it this way. Re: **** VAR
VAR is so flawed in my opinion. I don't know why they keep up the pretence of having the referee look at the monitor after VAR tells him too, they told him today for example that it was sustained holding etc, then they only show the ref the specific stills and slow mo angles that back up the decisio...

Pathetic tbh. Dubravka was clear MOM and it wasn’t even close . Foster was at best 7/10 today and the +1 because he scored. We need better Foster has been one of our best players this season, right now he'd be one of my first names on the teamsheet. He's made a few people look very silly so far

VAR struggles when there is more than one thing going on at once I've noticed- it became all about was it a pull instead of was it also in the box.

How the hell is Foster getting pelters today?
He's had the ball about three times and each time successfully held it up/moved it on. We haven't played a pass near him for most of the game, what the heck is he supposed to do?

We've been crap and they've moved the ball too quickly for us today. That being said I hate the refs in this league, United score from a free kick that shouldn't have been given.

I wouldn't pay much attention to what the Benfica fans say, there is a begrudging acknowledgement that his defensive statistics are elite in both the Champs league and in Portugal, but they bemoan his ability on the ball, lack of progressive play etc. Someone said he had an awful pass rate at 86% wh...

I was speaking to a few in the pub before the game who said exactly the same thing. The general perception of football messageboards is that they provide a minority with a platform to moan and a lot of fans avoid them as a result. I think it’s the same with anything though these days. Music, other ...

That's clearly an exaggeration and in the contect of JBL being available for £1.5m. But even so, at that point I don't recall anyone challenging that. He'd just been moved to the right after even Parker tired of giving him chances on left after 12 straight games there. At the time we signed him in ...

It was one game. It still was a variation of a back 5 and even then there were a couple of times in the first half where they broke on us with JBL upfield so Walker went out to the right there was a huge hole which Ekdal should have automatically plugged but didn't, he held central. A right wing back would be my top priority. I think we are fine at centre half, once Humphries is back in. New, Walker, Esteve, Humphries, Hartman looks like a pretty good back five to me, with plenty options for cover. After that it would be an extra defensive midfielder and potentially, depending...

They're getting worse comparatively to English sides. Don't get me wrong both clubs are still capable of pulling a result off against decent opposition but they wouldn't do it consistently over a season. It's always given them a false sense of where they rank in the football pyramid to be honest.

Anyone thinking Koleosho plays for us again or sells for what we would have got for him last summer if we loan him out this window is delusional. Why would he want to play for us again?
