Re: THE SUPER CLARETS vs Derby County - Match Thread

I thought that our "reserve team" showed what a great depth of squad we have. This will be very important in the New Year when injuries kick in and the big clubs usually have more nouse in sussing teams out having seen them play for 5 months.

Big bags

Just a potential awareness thing... Talking to an Ipswich fan last night, she said that some prem grounds last season did not allow bags into the away sections that were bigger than a really small handbag. Rucksacks, no chance! Maybe Ryanair run the Prem now!? Not all grounds, but she mentioned anfi...

There are several potential issues here which are not easily to pin down if there is no communication with the neighbour. 1. Do you know the exact line of the boundary between the properties? 2. Is it possible that you planted the tree on the neighbour's land, possibly due to the above? 3. Trees gro...

Meanwhile...was Millwall's goal offside...From the extended highlights it looks to me as if Pires is just playing him onside, but hard to be sure. Linesman probably had the best view.

Don't think teams will roll.over. Norwich gave us squeaky bum on friday and their attacking last 20mins will be for all game in the pl. At least we held out.
We outclassed wilder united on boxing day and should be able to replicate that. Win at Watford would be a massive step to automatic

I hear they are introducing giving a corner next season if the keeper holds onto the ball for more than 8 seconds.
So we need to practice them!
Throw ins too, we do not seem to be able to create space for a simple throw in without taking ages.

Several of our players lack songs but as Cullen has been a star in our midfield, I thought:

Cullen, Josh Cullen
Plays with a nerve of steel
Cullen, Josh Cullen
King of the Burnley midfield

Need to think about Brownhill, Roberts, Humphreys, Edwards etc

If we ever do concede a goal there would probably be 10mins of injury time added as Traf would not know where to look for the ball.
