I was hoping with a few decent additions we could push towards mid table respectability. At present it's looking like it's going to be another grim battle to scrape 40 points. If any of our key men get injured we'll be in big trouble.

Personally would prefer if everyone were tested. The figures above are right - double vaccinated have a 75% less chance of passing Covid on, but in a crowd of 20k, many will not feel reassured that there’s 5k amongst them that may have Covid. Yeah, go to London from Leeds if you can. Avanti are useless and a rip off. Can still get the group discount as well with LNER, which is handy for away games.

Colne were 70 for 7 when I turned up but managed to rally to about 140. Rochdale knocked them off without too much trouble though.

Big season for Brownhill coming up. Not sure he'll get a decent run of games playing central unless Cork or Westwood get injured though, which is the problem.

In a back 5 though, which we never play with. With Heaton coming in it would have solved the captaincy issue as well.

As others have pointed out, we only sell out about 2 away games a year. I really don't see the problem? Unfortunately the big games someone has to miss out.

Don't see why people can't sort their own tickets out if they have the required points. It's been a grey area for years how many tickets disappear to the supporters clubs for the big games.

Definitely the biggest downside of being in the Prem. Two localish away games first up and neither is kicking off at 3pm Saturday.

The whole point of a loan is for the player to get regular football. I don't think Liverpool or Phillips would be impressed if he came to Burnley on loan and sat on the bench all year. He'd probably see more action staying at Liverpool.

He hasn't played right midfield for years though really. United moved him back to left back and that seems to be where he mainly played for Inter.
I seem to remember his biggest strength was playing on the left and coming inside onto his right foot?

So my Dad sits behind the directors box in the Bob Lord and he's had an email tonight telling him his seat is no longer available. Surely the club should have known this when he paid his 10 pound deposit the other week?
