Re: 2025/26: Manchester United v Burnley – Ticket Information
Got mine. What do you do if you have a 8 year old phone where the battery always dies before the game? Doubt Old Trafford will allow a charging pack brought in. I plan to print off my QR code but not sure if that is allowed? Turn my phone off before Saturday's game to preserve the battery, and then...

Because Marseille signed him permanently and he has Champions League football to look forward to. There is another reason too why some clubs would steer away from him.
Hope that suits you better.

Re: What do we need
In this day and age where 'goal scorers' are at a premium, why isn't Mason Greenwood ever linked with anyone? Now that lad can finish, put him in our team and we stay in the division. Because Marseille signed him permanently and presumably he's happy there with Champions League football to look for...

I never mentioned over crowding...all I said was that was the only problem I saw It was much busier than normal. Don't think there will be a problem but I can't imagine people will fall like dominoes because of mobile phone use. If there are any problems it is much more likely it would be due to a ...

Why do people always use the word "soulless" when talking about certain grounds? What does that even mean? Only saw brief pictures today, but I bet there aren't many Everton fans pining for their old ground today. I have been going on the Turf since 1970 but would not miss it one bit if we moved to...

The commentator I listened to said "John Brooks says the defender clearly has full possession of the ball AND is fouled from behind"dougcollins wrote: ↑Sun Aug 24, 2025 7:37 pmIf the commentator was correct, the actual words from VAR were 'full control of the ball'.
That didn't happen.
The 'fouled from behind' part being key.

All things can simultaneously be true. Of course we deserved it. But in the first half Sunderland seemed to control the game and had two very good chances. It's not lucky if the opposition fail to take their chances. Their manager talked about not being clinical in those two moments and needing to ...

No. You’d do what Parker did last season. Start him in order to push back the opposition and panic them (remember most teams doubled up on him last season, they won’t this). He has never completed 90 minutes for us, so take him off after 65 and put either JBL or Hannibal on to shore things up, or t...

I don't agree. That defender was never in control of that ball. and was mightily relieved when it was chalked off. He knew. He would have been in control of the ball had Foster not fouled him. Why does he need to be in control of the ball anyway, as Foster didn't touch the ball before making contac...

That's clearly an exaggeration and in the contect of JBL being available for £1.5m. But even so, at that point I don't recall anyone challenging that. Again, I wasn't criticising the performance at Spurs (which I felt was decent). I was criticising the recruitment and how it lined up with the system used at Spurs. If you're a beginner and wanting to keep things simple and diversify lots, probably best to look something like Vanguard Lifestrategy, Fidelity or AJ Bell. You can then choose your risk appetite in terms of the mix between equities and bonds, depending how long you intend to invest for.

If they want to get rid of timewasting then good for them, but given Spurs were awarded a corner and their player spent longer than 8 seconds stood over it before taking it I'm not too sure what this rule actually achieves I suppose, in comparison to a corner, it's a recognition that the goalkeeper...
