Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs Cardiff City - MATCH THREAD (Carabao Cup)
Conceding possession at home to league one opposition is unforgivable really. No point getting carried away, majority of that side won’t be close to being a regular, but horrible performance and horrible tactics employed. 47% possession at home against a League 1 side, with £100m+ of players, is sh...

We pressed really poorly high up the pitch to begin with, and then the back line was sat far too deep which left acres of space in the middle.
Utterly bemusing tactics tonight from SP when usually he is spot on.

Re: Beehole podcast - Why Florentino Luis could save Burnley's season
Truly awful in defence against Spurs and for me the United game had relegation written all over it. Shocking defending, playing far too high up the pitch and naive decision making, which cost us the game. At Old Trafford we had three midfield players who seemingly had no idea how to defend. In fact...

Do we need another CM? We have Lesley, Cullen and Laurent and I think there’s an argument that Hannibal should drop deeper. Then there’s Ramsey. I would be looking to add creativity, tbh. But if we are looking at another physical CM, then it’s difficult to see past Billing. Whether it’s budget, club...

The inconsistencies are terrible. I read earlier that Alison held the ball longer than 8 seconds a total of 4 times during Liverpools opener, but wasn’t penalised once. You have the Bournemouth player flicking the ball away and nothing given, and then Tarks punished last night. I despise the PL and ...

I think we’re getting close to the realms of ripping up last seasons squad again, which was our downfall under VK. There’s a balance to be had. I have very mixed feelings about this.
