Re: Pendleside Hospice
Huge thanks again to everyone who donated before for our 52 half marathons. We've just completed run number 19 at the manchester half marathon in princess dresses 😂. If anyone could spare a few quid it would be really appreciated. And the previous offer still stands, if anyone fancies running a half...

Has there been a single chant for Parker since he joined? Can't say I've heard one. I know it's been boring at times, but we've a great chance at going up. How about a change to the Mike Jackson one... We've got super Scotty Parker, He knows exactly what we need, CJ at the back, Flemming in attack, ...

Goalkeeper - definitely! That sounds great. Honestly we would love to have people running with us throughout the year whether it is for a full half marathon or just a section of it. All support and company will be hugely appreciated!

There was a handball decision a few weeks ago (was it West Ham?) with Berge right at the end which we 100% got away with. Other than that I can’t think of anything.

Completely agree with the above from Goliath. I like Vitinho as he always puts 100% in but he’s obviously not good enough is he. It’s the diving in that gets me. At least once a game he dives in when there’s absolutely no need to and it very rarely pays off for him.

In my opinion, we are still playing with a passing and possession based approach but the defence and goalkeeper are absolutely killing us. Last season, when Muric was pressed it was actually brilliant news as he was usually capable of picking out the spare man and we would have an advantage straight...

I love Muric and would definitely be playing him, but it’s funny seeing some of the fools sat around me who were slagging him off throughout last season now losing the plot because he’s not playing. If Trafford is selected to start then we’ve got to get behind him. If it’s Muric then same again.

Cheers for all the replies. Tried ringing around to book the Padiham courts but nobody seemed to know how to do it. Ended up just going down and although there is a keypad on the door it wasn't set up yet so still just free to use. Brilliant courts. Will definitely pay to use those in the future.

Booking a tennis court
After all the investment in the local tennis courts you apparently now need to book to be able to play. Does anyone know how you actually do this? It ss seems like you have to sign up to become an LTA member but that is impossible as their website doesn't work properly.
Thanks

He’s obviously a good player. You don’t have the career he’s had if you’re a bad player. My personal opinion is that we’d have stood a much better chance of staying up had he got games over Barnes at the end of the season but I also now think we are probably better off without him…if that makes sense!

It’s definitely an enjoyable game to play. Don’t think I’ve ever played a game where I’ve felt I’ve had to learn so quickly. It’s great experimenting with the angles and shot powers off the walls. You’re right about it being a good workout too. Sweating buckets after 5 minutes!
