Its a bit of an irrelevance to be truthful though, I mean we paid roughly the same amount of money for Rhodes as we sold him for so its not as if its "profit" in the real sense of the world. Just a different financial year.

Either way it's the wages they pay that has been racking up their debts for years.
Was a loan until the end of the season, the deal was just recently completed.

Re: Britt Assombalonga

I know this wont be of much interest (maybe it will) and I absolutely am not posting to be antagonistic, but the club have released a statement regarding the figures being bandied about in the press during Assombalonga's signing; http://www.mfc.co.uk/news/mfc-clarifying-transfer-facts" onclick="wind...

Re: Britt Assombalonga

OK, so here's a conspiracy theory for you... Warburton asked Dyche to have an "interest" in him to get the best price for Forest from Boro... benefits Forest by inflating the sale price and benefits Dyche by putting a smile on his face after the animosity towards him from Boro (well Krankie at leas...

Re: Britt Assombalonga

Fans haven't got a clue about this sort of thing. Medicals are so stringent, as we witnessed with the Walters video. I do agree with you, still feels like a massive risk though. I guess we will find out later today as the Nottingham Evening Post reckon he is on his way for a medical. If there is an...

Re: Britt Assombalonga

Dunno, you need a striker He's probably one the better ones around. Just one that is a massive risk, I live in Nottingham now and have lots of Notts mates and have been to a couple of matches. The people I know, albeit only fans like you and I have mixed feelings about him going. Rumours abound tha...

He's a player not everyone wants here, certainly one that I don't. I was really hoping Burnley would "save" us what will be IMHO a £15m disaster.

LoL Middlesbrough but also a football fan. Obviously Middlesbrough are my team and have been since I was a kid etc but just cba with all the rivalry nonsense when its not match day.

Re: The annual Karanka wobble

Fair points (ish) RandomBoro :) I think any reference to the fans should be positive or not at all by a manager. You never want to give the fans half a reason to not be on your side as it can cost you your job in the end. On another point, AK does seem to mention long balls a lot (or the media perc...

Re: The annual Karanka wobble

I'm not hear to criticise you chaps and I know every team likes to have a bit of banter against other teams/managers etc but a couple of things do need to be cleared up. His interview where he allegedly criticised the fans was unintelligible at best as whilst his English is ok it oft fails when tryi...
