Re: What now for James Trafford?

Was Donnaruma even available when Trafford went. I seriously doubt he'd been told about that idea before he signed. He'd surely have been much better going to Newcastle to compete with Pope in this scenario. Like I said. 48 games minimum. Fighting to win 4 trophies (doesn’t matter wether they’re fa...

Man City is Pep's "toy"
He has no interest in the individuals - and no loyalty to any player

Signed Grealish for 100M and got shut quick - small change
If you’re “loyal” to players, you end up like Fat Sam/Dychey/Pulis.

Re: What now for James Trafford?

There’s a huge difference between joining a club alongside a 31-year-old first choice that is on the wane and wants out compared to already being at a club who then decide just four weeks into your tenure to buy one of the best goalkeepers in the world, a goalkeeper that has already won it all and ...

JT would have been told exactly what the situation is. There’s plenty of games for both of them with the Cups/EPL/CL. Donnarumma has also yet to play in any kind of decent league. Different playing Sat/Midweek/Sat, big game, after bug game.

Football is expensive now. That's inarguable. Most clubs are in a no-win situation though. They need all the money they can get to try and stay afloat at whatever level they play at. Even non-league prices aren't cheap these days because of the need to cover the basic running costs of the clubs. At...
